These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Buzzerboy Inc. ("ShareYourNet," "we," "our," or "us"), governing your access to and use of the website at shareyournet.com (the "Site") and all related services.
By accessing the Site, submitting a review, running a speed test, or otherwise using any feature of the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.
ShareYourNet is a community-driven platform that allows Canadian internet users to:
The Site is informational in nature. We do not provide internet services, act as an ISP, or guarantee the accuracy of any information submitted by users.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Site. By using the Site you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent.
The Site is intended for use by residents of Canada. We make no representation that the Site or its content is appropriate or available in other jurisdictions.
By submitting a review, you represent and warrant that:
By submitting a review, you grant ShareYourNet a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to publish, display, reproduce, modify (for formatting only), and distribute your review content on the Site and in aggregated datasets. You retain ownership of the content you submit.
We reserve the right to reject, edit for formatting, or remove any review that violates these Terms, contains personal information of a third party, or is determined (in our sole discretion) to be fraudulent, abusive, or defamatory. We are not obligated to publish every review submitted.

All content on the Site that is not submitted by users — including the Site design, code, text, graphics, logos, and data visualisations — is owned by or licensed to Buzzerboy Inc. and is protected by Canadian and international copyright law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without our express written permission. Fair dealing for the purposes of commentary, news reporting, or research is permitted under the Copyright Act (Canada).
"ShareYourNet" and associated marks are trademarks of Buzzerboy Inc. Nothing on the Site grants any licence to use our trademarks.
As described in Section 4.2, you grant us a licence to use your submitted content. This licence does not transfer ownership of your content to us. You may request removal of your review at any time by contacting privacy@shareyournet.com, subject to our data retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.
Aggregated and anonymised data derived from your review (e.g., average ratings and speed statistics by postal code) may be retained indefinitely even after your individual review is removed.
Our speed test feature is powered by Ookla® Speedtest. Use of the speed test is subject to Ookla's terms of service. Speed test results are provided for informational purposes only. Results may vary based on device, Wi-Fi interference, network congestion, and other factors outside our control. ShareYourNet makes no warranty as to the accuracy of speed test results.
Speed test data you choose to submit alongside a review is governed by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
ShareYourNet may earn referral commissions when you click on ISP links and subsequently subscribe to a service. These commercial relationships:
ISPs cannot pay to improve their ranking or to suppress negative reviews. All rankings are calculated solely from submitted community data.
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
User-submitted reviews reflect the personal opinions of individual customers. ShareYourNet does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of any user-submitted content. We do not represent any ISP and are not affiliated with any ISP unless expressly stated.
ISP availability, pricing, and plan details change frequently. Always confirm current offerings directly with the ISP before making a purchasing decision.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SHAREYOURNET, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD $100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Buzzerboy Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Site; (b) your submitted reviews or other content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party right.
You are solely responsible for the content of reviews you submit. You must not include content that is defamatory, libellous, or that makes false statements of fact about any person or organisation. ShareYourNet complies with Canadian defamation law and will cooperate with lawful requests to identify users who have posted unlawful content.
If you believe a review on the Site is defamatory or factually false, contact us at legal@shareyournet.com with the URL of the review and a detailed explanation of your concern. We will investigate and respond within 14 business days.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario sitting in Toronto, Ontario. You irrevocably consent to such jurisdiction.
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at legal@shareyournet.com and attempt to resolve any dispute informally for at least 30 days.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a revised effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after the updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Site.
